Common Sound: Round Three

Common Sound: Round Three takes place on September 11 at 7 pm at the Beaconsfield Carriage House in Charlottetown. The curated concert series brings different genres of music together under one roof. Featuring both local and visiting artists, the series creates a shared space for audiences to discover music they may not otherwise hear side by side. The third edition will feature Romy Munkres, Tom Gammons, and Emilea May. Fiddler Romy Munkres explores Celtic, Scandinavian, and Appalachian traditions while staying connected to their New England roots. Guitarist Tom Gammons brings a powerful groove and delicate touch, shaped by his passion for traditional fiddle accompaniment. PEI songwriter Emilea May pairs dreamlike vocals with thoughtful, honest lyrics. Her songs explore healing, human connection, motherhood, and the experiences that shape our inner lives. The evening will include two sets of music, with a short break and snacks in between. Admission is at the door, with a pay-what-you-can option available.
