Joe Ghiz Park 25th Anniversary Celebration

Charlottetown will mark the 25th anniversary of the Joseph A. Ghiz Memorial Park with a community celebration on September 19 from 2-4 pm. The Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club will have a barbecue in addition to a celebration cake, juice, and ice cream sundaes. My Climate Plan, with assistance from the Mayor's Office, will make a donation toward the ice cream sundaes. There will also be musical entertainment, and magician Christian Southgate will perform strolling magic tricks for the audience. Parks and Recreation Department staff have worked hard this summer making the park safe for families.
