Ocean Kin

In partnership with The River Clyde Sharing the Field, The Arts Guild in Charlottetown will present Ocean Kin on October 2 and 3. Ocean Kin is a 45-minute poetic shadow show contemplating one's relationship to body and self, inspired by the ecology of the sea otter. Three performers animate plexiglass puppets, 3D sculptural props, and projected illustrations behind a screen, using flashlights and an overhead projector to create a performance that is both mechanically complex and visually rich.
