Patti Larsen Book Launch

USA Today bestselling Island author Patti Larsen will celebrate the launch of her new Casey Cooke Paranormal Cozy Mystery series on September 23 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Haviland Club in Charlottetown. The launch will feature a reading by Larsen, books for sale and signing, a cash bar, and cake. Set on Prince Edward Island, the series blends mystery, humour and the paranormal, imagining a version of the Island where magic is real-and murder is never far behind. The series begins with Dread Dirt Road, introducing necrowitch and investigator Casey Cooke, who returns home to PEI after trouble on a case in Toronto and soon finds herself drawn into a string of mysterious deaths, aided-and sometimes distracted-by a handsome dragon detective. Five books in the series have been released, with a sixth coming in October. Larsen, an international award-winning author, has written 258 books translated into six languages. For Larsen, who was born and raised on Prince Edward Island and still makes her home here, the series is an opportunity to bring a magical version of her home province to fans around the world.
